Anna Rojewska - Nowak
(MA, Dance/Movement Therapist)
Anna Rojewska-Nowak is a dance/movement and creative/expressive arts therapist who uses a holistic approach working with individuals and groups in Poland since 2002.
Anna works primarily in psychiatry, his apprenticeship subjected to the supervision of supervisors in psychotherapy. She works in the Mental Health Clinic in Gliwice on Affective and Anxiety Disorders Ward.
Also she works in City Center for Addiction Treatment in Bielsko-Biała (the treatment of substance abuse issues and other behavioral addictions) . She also has a private practice. She also lecteur in several Creative Arts Therapies training programs and leads workshops.
Anna is a certified Creative/Expressive Arts Therapist in the following specialties: dance/movement therapy and dramatherapy (cert. No. 30/2012). In 2015 she received a certificate of Educator Arts Therapy (cert. No. 30/2015), certificate of professional competence in the field of practice and education: children's arts therapy, arts therapy development, arts therapy rehabilitation and arts therapy adults.
In professional practice DMT she uses a proprietary technique work DMT which called IPTW (PL: Improwizacje Psychomotoryczne Tańca Wewnętrznego; ANG: Internal Dance Psychomotor Improvisation).
Anna actively participates in Conferences on Expressive Arts Therapy and Psychiatry, published in the topics of Dance Movement Therapy and Expressive Arts Therapy.
From 2016 she has been a board member of the Association of Polish Arts Therapists. She is also in a board member of the Scientific Section of Arts Therapy in Polish Psychiatric Association and she is also member of the Polish Association of Dance Therapy - Polish Dance Theatre in Poznań.
